First in Flight Entertainment was founded in February 2008, and has literally "Taken Off" by way of passionate owners Erinn & Nelson Diaz.  Our mission is to provide the perfect entertainment for each event, bringing smiles and memorable moments to you and your guests.  We listen to what you have to say, and together we work out what is best for your event.  From children’s birthday parties to large corporate events, First in Flight Entertainment has provided smiles to hundreds of people in North Carolina. 

Active in the community, First in Flight Entertainment is a proud member of the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce, The Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce, The Kernersville Chamber of Commerce, and the Guilford County Merchants Association.

Erinn Dearth Diaz (CEO of Fun) Erinn grew up in North Carolina working in theatre with the Little Theatre of Winston-Salem, and began her professional arts career in South Florida.  Erinn has been working in the entertainment industry for 20 years and has worked on over 200 theatrical productions nationwide, as well as being seen in several TV shows and movies.  Erinn has also worked onboard cruise ships, toured with Cirque productions, was formerly a board member of the Women’s Theatre Project in Ft Lauderdale, and was the Executive Director for the Theatre League of South Florida.  She is a professional singer, dancer, actress, published author, national tap dance champion and most importantly a wife to her wonderful husband, Nelson.

Diana Mattern (Administrator of Awesome)

Diana Mattern takes the best notes, delivers the most delicious coffee/donuts & does all the miscellaneous jobs that people don't get around to or want in the office. She might not have the singing voice of an angel, but she breakdances like a beast. Born in Jamaica Queens, NY but raised up & down South Florida, she relocated to Gainesville, FL in 2007 for college in need of new surroundings. In April of 2011, Nelson & Erinn (aka Dad & Mom), helped lug her stuff to North Carolina which included her giant but cuddly husband Dillon, their baby Caleigh & red-nose pit Reptar. Diana is a Capricorn who likes long walks in the beach & people with a nice sense of humor. Oh, & she really hates wet socks.

Nelson Diaz (Director of Imagination) Nelson has always been a supporter and lover of the arts and is passionate about providing the community quality entertainment at reasonable prices.  An official “Half-Back”, Nelson grew up in New York, moved to Florida, and then came half-back to settle in North Carolina.  Nelson is a graduate of Columbia University in New York.  He is very happily married to Erinn, and has three wonderful children, Max, Diana and Yoko.  He is the founder and owner of Solid Investment, a company in Winston-Salem for helping Investors.  Nelson also has an exciting e-commerce business www.ChristmasOrnamentsAndWoodCraft.com, and is starting what he states is the "MOST EXCITING BUSINESS OF ALL HE HAS EVER OPENED UP"  http://OpportunityEnt.acnrep.com -  bringing you technological advancements.

Steve Smith (Entertainment Representative)
Steve flew into First in Flight Entertainment with a dream. A dream of having fun at work and what better way than to work with a bunch of entertainers. (a wild and crazy bunch) Steve brings a lifetime of marketing and sales experience to the organization and is committed to creating a great and fun experience for our clients. A South Florida transplant Steve has lived in Forsyth County for the past 25 years and thinks this is the best place on earth. He is a avid home repair guy who thinks he repair anything and so far has.

Dillon Mattern (Sound Tech)

Dillon was born & raised in South Florida. He & his wife Diana eventually moved to Gainesville, FL even though he is a die-hard UM fanatic. He has been playing the guitar for over 15 years & can also play a number of other instruments including bass, drums, trumpet, piano, harmonica & a mean air guitar. When Dillon isn't at the office, he's probably at band practice or eating chocolate truffles.
